Police Urge Caution in Fulchoki Jungle Area Due to Missing Persons Incidents

Lalitpur. The District Police Range Lalitpur has urged the general public to exercise caution as incidents of people going missing and losing contact are increasing in the Fulchoki jungle area of Godavari Municipality-3.

Students from schools and colleges, as well as other general public, are requested to remain vigilant due to the dense forest, unfamiliar trails, mobile network problems, and the risk of sudden weather changes.

Assistant Sub-Inspector of the District Police Range Lalitpur, Gautam Mishra, informed that six reports of missing persons in the Fulchoki area were received in one year, and all were rescued safely.

Godavari Municipality Deputy Mayor, Muna Adhikari, stated that the number of visitors to Fulchoki increases on public holidays, but most people go missing while trying to use shortcuts on their return journey.

She also urged visitors to travel only in groups or with a guide, inform family or friends before going, not to use unfamiliar shortcuts, and to carry mobile phones, drinking water, and necessary supplies.
