Pokhara Forms Committee for Squatter Family Relocation

Pokhara. A committee has been formed to match land plots and study infrastructure for the relocation of squatter families at Pokhara Buspark. The Pokhara Metropolitan City has formed the committee under the convenership of senior engineer Surendra Poudel. 

Mayor Dhanraj Acharya informed that the committee was formed to match land plots based on the recommendation of the land search committee. The committee has been formed to carry out the necessary technical work on the lands deemed suitable among those recommended by the previously formed land search committee.

The committee has been given the responsibility to measure and inspect the recommended lands, demarcate plots according to the specified area, ensure the necessary area for open spaces, schools, and other essential infrastructure construction, and determine the total area that can be managed. The committee is required to submit a report with its opinion within 7 days. 

Architecture engineer Siddharth Pandey, Amin Pradip Subedi, and Sandesh Sapkota are members of the committee. Administrative Officer Tikaram Bajgai has been appointed as the member secretary of the committee.
