Bhaktapur – Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) Chairman, Narayanman Bijukchhe, has called for stopping migration from one district to another terming it highly necessary.
At a programme held by Bhaktapur municipality on Monday, Bijukchhe said the haphazard migration has created problems.
"The unmanaged migration from one district to another has made the city unmanaged, pollution has increased from migration along with crime," Bijukchhe shared. He further stressed on formulating a policy on internal migration.
On the occasion, Bhaktapur's Mayor, Sunil Prajapati, said the development works have been undertaken within a year as per the earlier commitment. He said a prosperous city will be built in the next five years by enhancing the standards of education, health, drinking water and sewerage system.
