Legislation Management Committee Presents Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2081/82 to Parliament

Kathmandu. Tulsa Kumari Dahal, Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, presented the annual report of the 'Legislation Management Committee' for the fiscal year 2081/82 before the assembly.

Chairperson Dahal clarified that the annual report detailed discussions on legal bills involving experts, ministers, and secretaries in clause-by-clause deliberations.

She informed that the committee's report incorporates the committee's activities, the status of bills, member attendance, decisions, and reports from July 1, 2081, to the end of Ashar 2082. According to her, 104 formal meetings were held during this period.

Of these meetings, Chairperson Dahal informed that 86 meetings focused on legislation management work, four on measuring the implementation of acts, five on study and research, and nine on other subjects.
