Unidentified Man's Body Recovered from Pond in Rautahat District

Rautahat. The body of a man has been found in a pond located in Chetanagar, Chandrapur Municipality-9, Rautahat district. Local residents informed the police after spotting the body in the pond.

According to local Radheshyam Sah, the body was seen floating in the water this morning while he was heading towards the pond. He stated that surrounding residents gathered afterward and informed the Chetanagar Police Post.

The District Police Office, Rautahat, stated that a team dispatched from the Chetanagar Police Post reached the scene immediately upon receiving the information and began preliminary procedures and investigation. Police have reported that the identity of the deceased has not yet been established.

Police have indicated that the cause of the incident is under investigation and further details will be released after completing the necessary legal procedures.
