Singer Babita Manandhar Releases New Lok Adhunik Song 'Kaliyugki Radha'

Singer Babita Manandhar's new song 'Kaliyugki Radha' has been released. The Lok Adhunik style song was jointly launched by senior singers Kunti Moktan, Sukmit Gurung, Monila Sotang, and Devika Bandana at an event held in the capital on Thursday evening.

The song features vocals by Babita Manandhar, lyrics by DP Khanal, and music by Shankar Thapa 'Smile'. The song's video was also shown during the event. The video, directed by Rajiv Samar, features choreography by Ashma Bishwakarma and Abhishek Shrestha. The song captures the reality of love, feminine emotion, and relationships in modern society. Singer Manandhar has been active in the music industry for over two decades.

At the event, senior singer Kunti Moktan highly praised Babita's voice. She stated that Babita is a singer capable of doing justice to songs in any genre.

Similarly, senior singer Sukmit Gurung commented that Babita's singing is of a high caliber. She gave feedback that the lyrics, music, and video for 'Kaliyugki Radha' are all very well done.

Addressing the event, senior singer Monila Sotang expressed confidence that 'Kaliyugki Radha' will win the hearts of the audience. She mentioned that she liked both the audio and video from every angle. Another senior singer, Devika Bandana, noted that she has often heard Babita's voice in many item songs for films, and today her vocal quality remains the same.

Speaking at the event, musician Thapa stated that it was a moment of pride for them to have the song released by accomplished senior female singers of Nepali music. Model Ashma Bishwakarma expressed confidence that the audience will like the song and video.

Singer Manandhar, who began playback singing with the film 'Chalachitra' released in 2057 BS, has lent her voice to nearly two dozen films including 'Chahanchhu Ma Timilai', 'Baunshar', and 'Meri Aammai'. Besides films, she has sung for around five dozen songs in other genres.
