'Pension Patta' Film to Screen in UK, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand

Kathmandu. The film 'Pension Patta' directed by Maotse Gurung will be screened in Britain and Hong Kong as well as Australia and New Zealand. The Back Events has bought the rights for Australia and New Zealand for the film's screening. With this, the production team has stated that 'Pension Patta' has been receiving positive responses in various international markets even before its screening. This film, produced under the banner of Maotse Gurung Films, focuses on Nepali society, family, relationships, and human emotions. Earlier, Maotse Gurung's films 'Purano Dunga' and 'Dayarani' had garnered good attention both at home and abroad. For this reason, the production side believes that the interest of foreign distributors and the Nepali diaspora in 'Pension Patta' has significantly increased. The film will present a story that will guide, from a humanitarian perspective, what kind of hope a person's life can generate and what struggles one has to undertake for it. The film features actors such as Dayahang Rai, Sunil Thapa, Gaumaya Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Wilson Bikram Rai, Pushkar Gurung, Sol Gurung, Suraj Tamu, Raj Thapa Kauchha, Manoj Gurung, Anusha Rai, Luniva Tuladhar. The cinematography is by Sushant Prajapati and the editing is by Ker D. Koich Linuch. The film, with D.B. Gurung as Production Manager, features songs by Hark Saud, Shiva Baraili and Suraj Tamu, and music by Manoj Thapa Magar, Shiva Baraili and Suraj Tamu. Discussions are underway for screening rights from other countries after Britain, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.
