Suman Sharma Appointed CEO of Prabhu Bank

Kathmandu. Suman Sharma has been appointed as the CEO of Prabhu Bank. The bank's board of directors, in a meeting held on Tuesday, appointed Sharma as CEO effective today.

His tenure will be for 4 years, informed Amit Bhandari, the company secretary of the bank. Sharma, recognized as an experienced and skilled banker, has accumulated three decades of experience in the banking sector. Previously, he served as the CEO of Machhapuchhre Bank for 21 months and subsequently for a short period at Sunrise Bank.

Prior to that, Sharma has experience working at Global IME Bank, NMB Bank, among others. Sharma holds a Master's degree in Economics and Physics from Tribhuvan University, and an MBA postgraduate degree from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.

He started his career in 1997 at Nepal SBI Bank. He worked at NMB Bank for 10 years, Machhapuchhre Bank for 3 years, and Global IME Bank for 6 months.
