Working Capital Loan Guideline Variance Implementation Postponed to 2084

Kathmandu. The deadline for the implementation of the variance in the working capital loan guideline has been postponed again. The Nepal Rastra Bank has pushed back the date for the implementation of this provision in the working capital loan guideline.

According to this, the provision to adjust loans by performing variance analysis mentioned in the working capital loan guideline will now be implemented only from Shrawan 1, 2084. Earlier, it was mentioned that this would be implemented from Shrawan 2083.

Currently, businesses can take working capital loans up to 25 percent of their annual turnover. However, the date to bring existing loans, which are already above this limit, within the limit has been pushed back by one year.
