Pawan Kumar Acharya Assumes Role as CEO of Sanchaya Bank

Pawan Kumar Acharya assumed office as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sanchaya Bank Limited starting Monday. The bank's Board of Directors appointed him to lead the bank for the upcoming term, as decided on the 24th of Kartik.

The newly appointed CEO, Acharya, is an individual who has made significant contributions while serving in various roles at Sanchaya Bank for the past 21 years. Prior to this appointment, he served as the bank's Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer. During his long tenure at the bank, he has led more than 10 departments and branches. His primary expertise lies in credit appraisal, digitalization, and project finance. Before entering the banking sector, he has four years of experience working as an engineer, and he also served as a visiting faculty member for five years.

Acharya holds a master's degree from Pittsburg State University in the United States and a bachelor's degree in engineering from MNIT, Jaipur, India. He established an excellent academic record by securing the third position on the board in his School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination.
