Protest held at Padmakanya Campus demanding justice for Prakriti Lamsal (photos)

Kathmandu, February 18 — The Nepal Student Union (NSU) staged a pressure demonstration at Padmakanya Multiple Campus in Kathmandu demanding justice for Prakriti Lamsal, who was found dead in Odisha, India.

The Padmakanya Multiple Campus Committee of the NSU held the demonstration at the campus gate this morning.

Lamsal was found dead on Sunday in a hostel at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

As Nepali students protested demanding justice, the college administration suppressed the demonstration, leading to widespread opposition both within the country and abroad.
