Bhojpur Road Blacktopping Nears Completion

Bhojpur. The blacktopping work of the under-construction Turke Pul-Jhyaupokhari-Sampang-Phalidobato road in Shadananda Municipality of Bhojpur has reached the final stage. Out of the total 20 km length of the road, 14 km blacktopping has been completed.

According to Rajanraj Reddy, Chief of the Infrastructure Development Office, the physical progress of this road so far is about 83 percent. The blacktopping was started in the fiscal year 2077 BS with an agreement of Rs 51 crore 62 lakh. "Blacktopping of 14 kilometers of this road has been completed", said Chief Reddy, "The office has been paying attention to completing the work on time with quality."

The road is being blacktopped according to technical standards using asphalt technology. The office has stated that regular technical monitoring is being carried out for quality construction.

Surendrakumar Udash, Mayor of Shadananda Municipality, said that this road is the backbone of local development. He said that the enthusiasm among the locals has increased after the road was blacktopped. "Roads are the basis of infrastructure development", said Mayor Udash, "After the completion of this road, the economic, social and educational activities here will improve."

According to local residents, the problems faced for years due to the कच्ची road are about to end. Local Deviram Chaulagain said that after the road is built, travel will be easier and both transportation costs and time will be reduced. "It was very difficult before, now that the road is built, it will be a great relief", he said.

With the completion of the road construction, residents of Shadananda Municipality and surrounding areas will be provided with regular, safe and easy transportation services, he said. He said that this will have a positive impact on trade, agriculture, education, health and tourism sectors, adding a new dimension to overall regional development.
