Man killed, wife seriously injured in Bhaktapur scooter accident

Kathmandu, January 3 — A man died and his wife was critically injured in a scooter accident in Bhaktapur.
The accident occurred when the scooter, with registration number Bagmati Province-02-028 Pa 6610, lost control and turned turtle while traveling from Sanothimi towards Magar Gaun in Madhyapur Thimi-2, informed DSP Dhundiraj Neupane from the Bhaktapur District Police Office.
The 31-year-old Nischalprakash Rajbhandari from Sanothimi, who was riding the scooter, died during treatment.
His wife, 28-year-old Pooja Shrestha, who was riding pillion, is receiving treatment at Norvic Hospital.
The scooter has been taken into custody by the Sanothimi Police Division.
