Gold price up by NPR 1,400 per tola

Kathmandu, January 1 — The price of gold increased by NPR 1,400 per tola (11.66 grams) on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold is set at NPR 151,000 per tola today, up from NPR 149,600 on Tuesday.

The price of silver, however, remained stable. Silver, which was traded at NPR 1,765 per tola on Tuesday, has the same price today.
