'Magne Buda' joins director Rishi Lamichhane's new film
Kathmandu, November 8 — Actor Kedar Ghimire alias Magne Buda has joined director Rishi Lamichhane's new film. On Thursday, Kedar and director Lamichhane signed a formal agreement regarding the film's acting role.
Kedar will play the lead role in the film, with the character being chosen according to the script's requirements, as stated by director Lamichhane.
Although the film's title has not been revealed yet, preparations for the shooting are set to begin in the last week of January.
Despite the title being undecided, the casting process for the film is currently underway. The film will be produced by Munal Ghimire, who is also the director.
The script for the film is written by Samipraj Timilsina, and this project marks director Lamichhane's comeback after eight years. His last directed film, Kismat 2, was released in 2016.
Lamichhane has previously directed several successful films, including Hawaldar Suntali, Shriman Shrimati, and Kahile Milan, Kahile Bichhod.
