Two killed, five injured in jeep plunge in Bajura

Bajura - Two men were killed and five others injured when a jeep (Se 1 Ja 940) plunged around 50 meters at Badimalika Municipality-8 in Bajura on Monday. 
The police have identified the deceased as the passengers Bal Bahadur Budha, 40, of Aananda rural municipality-3 in Humla and Kali Bahadur Raut of Khatyad rural municipality-8 in Mugu. 
The two injured-- Singh Bahadur Shahi of Swamikartik rural municipality-5 and Karna Bahadur Rokaya of Srinagar in Humla—are reported to be in serious condition, and they have been referred to Achham for further treatment, the police said. 
Other injured--a school teacher Janak Bahadur Shahi of Budhinanda Municipality-9, Gorakh Bahadur Rokaya of Gaumul rural municipality-6, Khadak Rokaya of Aananda rural municipality-3 in Humla--were receiving treatment at a local health facility. 
A search has been launched for the fleeing vehicle driver, the police said. The vehicle that met with the accident was headed to Martadi from Kolti.
