Rana appointed Deputy CEO  of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCBNL)announced the appointment of Gorakh Rana as Deputy Chief Executive Officer with effect from Jan 1. 

Rana, who has a 27-year-old banking experience, had joined the bank in 1994 in the retail and private banking department and corporate and institutional banking department in 1996. He also served in various capacities ranging from the relationship manager and senior credit manager. He also headed the client coverage and global banking and commercial banking department.

According to the bank, he will continue to lead the client coverage, corporate, commercial and institutional banking in Nepal along with the role of deputy CEO.
