Rastriya Swatantra Party Nawalpur District Convention Sees 6 Candidates for President Amidst Voting Delay

Pokhara. The process of registering candidacies for leadership in the Nawalpur district convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has concluded. According to the election committee, 6 people have filed nominations for the post of president in the election for new leadership. 

Krishna Prasad Sharma, Gokul Sapkota, Doman Bahadur Bhandari, Sita Kumari Aryal, Nareshwar Lamichhane, and Netra Prasad Bhusal have presented their claims for the presidency in Nawalpur.

Intense competition is also seen in other positions of the district. The election committee has stated that 5 people have filed nominations for the post of vice-president, 4 for secretary, and 4 for joint secretary. Maya Bhandari, Jag Bahadur Rana, Keshav Poudel, Subhadra Parajuli Adhikari, and Rita Pokharel have registered their candidacies for vice-president.

Similarly, Vishnu Kandel, Sudip Neupane, Ramesh Adhikari, and Rishiram Bhandari are candidates for the post of secretary, while Sant Bahadur Thapa Magar, Chandra Bahadur Pariyar, Purushottam Gaire, and Raj Kumar KC have registered nominations for joint secretary. 

Although the nomination registration was completed with enthusiasm, the voting process for the convention has been halted due to a dispute over the selection of representatives. According to RSP Nawalpur, voting has been stopped due to internal representative disputes, and efforts are being made to move the process forward by reaching a consensus.
