Stating that some ancient coins with images of person practicing yoga posture dating back to the Tetra Yuga have been found in some places which showed the ancient tradition of yoga, PM said sages like Valmeeki, Bishwamitra, Bashistha and Vyas observed their penance in the land of Nepal therefore making it known over the world as the land of meditation, knowledge and peace.
