PAC unanimously endorses Toyam Raya as Auditor General

KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has unanimously endorsed Toyam Raya for the position of Auditor General.

Committee Chairperson Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana announced that Raya's nomination received unanimous approval for the role of Auditor General.

Raya presented a comprehensive 15-page action plan, expressing commitment to reducing arrears through proactive initiatives.

The recommendation for Raya's appointment as Auditor General was made during a Constitutional Council meeting held on March 31.

Raya's endorsement signifies a crucial step in ensuring effective oversight and accountability in governmental financial matters.
