142 suggestions selected for KMC Smart Urban Technology Challenge

Kathmandu–A total of 142 suggestions were selected for Smart Urban Technology Challenge 2018 for Kathmandu metropolitan city. A total 452 such suggestions were collected during a month.
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City had sought suggestions in course of finding out solutions to address problems faced by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The suggestions were collected selecting four areas: Community and Environment, City Infrastructure Development, Community Service and Public Administration and Management.
According to Urban Planning Commission member Secretary Saroj Basnet, these suggestions were short out through competition. The suggestions will be found out following the technology.
The first suggestion giver will be rewarded with Rs 500,000 while winner in each category will be rewarded with Rs 200,000 each while second one by each one by Rs 100,000.
The scheme was developed in 2075 BS aimed at finding out technology friendly solutions in the metropolitan city therefore it was called from public sides.
