Bhimduttanagar– Poor families residing in Bhimduttangar municipality-2 in Kanchanpur have received quilts in charity.
Bhimduttanagar municipality mayor Surendra Bista on Monday distributed quilts to 26 individuals representing the poor households.
As he said on the occasion, the local government was all committed to coming up with programmes aimed to improve the economic status of poor, dalit, indigenous and backward communities.
The assistance was managed by the ward office and the mayor thanked the office for doing something for the causes of poor.
