Ranjha ,Banke– Properties worth millions gutted in a fire that occurred last night in two medical stores and a grocery near BP Chowk, Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City.
Police Inspector Narayan Dangi said that Safa Medical owned by Rakesh Kumar Kumhal and Maya Pharmacy of Lalumaya Chalaune, and Dhiraj General Store were caught with the fire last midnight, gutting the entire goods into cinder by causing a huge loss to the owners.
According to the police, the fire could have occurred following the electricity leakage. Owner of Safa Medical Kumhal claimed that medicines worth more than 5 million rupees were destroyed in the fire.
