Darchula – An unidentified group has vandalized Latinath higher secondary school at Marma Rural Municipality-3.
The group had arbitrarily cut down the lock of computer class and administration chamber before vandalizing the school building.
The incident was supposed to be happened on Friday and the details of the loss were known only when the school resumes its routine works on Sunday after festive holiday, shared School Principal Bhagirath Bista.
The group had vandalized seven computer sets, projector, table, cupboard and chairs and also removed the lock from resource centre’s office, he informed.
It is estimated that the vandalism of physical properties of school incurred the loss amounting to Rs 250,000.
The search for the vandals is underway, said Police Inspector Suresh BK.
