New Government Land Valuation Set for Kalanki Area

Kathmandu. New government valuation has been set for land in the Kalanki area.

According to the new rates determined by the Land Administration Office for the fiscal year 2083/84, the land value in the main ring road area has decreased, while the government land value has increased in the inner wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and most areas of Chandragiri Municipality.

The minimum price determination committee, chaired by the Chief District Officer, has set new prices by revising the previous year's (FY 2082/083) rates. This new price list, set for the purpose of determining the 'thaili' amount in passed deeds, will be effective from the upcoming Shrawan 1.

According to the new rates, the value of land connected to the main ring road (Balkhu-Vanasthali section) has decreased by three and a half lakh rupees per ana. However, the value of land connected to inner paved and unpaved roads in Kalimati, Soltimode, Kalanki, Sitapaila, and Chandragiri has been increased by 50 thousand to 2 lakh rupees per ana.

Similarly, the valuation of land in most areas of Kirtipur and Dakshinkali Municipalities and land without road access has continued with the previous year's rates.
