Nepali Congress Vice President Sharma Discusses 15th General Convention Preparations

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma has informed that extensive discussions and dialogues are underway within the party for the upcoming 15th General Convention. Speaking at a press conference organized at the party's central office in Sanepa on Monday, he clarified the party's internal affairs and preparations for the upcoming convention. Vice President Sharma stated that continuous discussions are being held among party President Gagan Kumar Thapa, party leadership, and other members to create an environment where everyone can participate comfortably. He said that positive dialogue is ongoing between the leadership and the general secretary to create an easy environment for all party members to participate in the 15th General Convention. Clarifying the internal affairs, Vice President Sharma said, 'I want to clarify what is happening regarding the internal affairs of the Nepali Congress party. Discussions and dialogues are being held among the respected party President Gagan Kumar Thapa, the entire Nepali Congress party, and the party leadership with the aim of creating an environment for everyone to participate in the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.' Speaking about the outcome of the dialogue, he added, 'We are confident that these dialogues and discussions will conclude positively. I want to clarify this at the outset, keeping in mind the questions that may arise from you today regarding internal affairs.' Sharma mentioned that he is fully confident that these discussions within the party will yield positive conclusions. At the beginning of the press conference, he addressed the journalists' queries regarding the party's internal affairs and unity, stating that efforts are being made to reach an understanding at the leadership level.
