One dead, one hurt as motorcycle hits parked truck

 

Bhimduttanagar–A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Kanchanpur district this morning. Police identified the deceased as Likhram Chaudhary,52, of Durgauli Rural Municipality-2.

The accident happened as his motorcycle (Se 4 Ta 8024) crashed into a truck parked near Bani Bazaar of Krishnapur Municipality-2 along the Bani-Krishnapur road section of east-west highway. Chaudhary, severely injured in the accident, died in course of treatment at the Seti Zonal Hospital in Dhangadhi, the Area Police Office, Krishnapur said.

Pillion rider Prabin Chaudhary, 25, of Rajapur, Bardiya was hurt in the accident and is being treated at the same hospital. He is said to be out of a life- threatening condition. ---
