Protests against arrest of Advocate Lamichhane in front of Lalitpur District Court

KATHMANDU, July 3: The Valley Bar Association and the Lalitpur Bar Association have demonstrated a protest against the arrest of a lawyer on the charge of beating an employee inside the court. The lawyers staged the protest at the Lalitpur District Court premises on Monday.

Advocate Amir Lamichhane was arrested on the charge of assaulting a Lalitpur District Court employee Premika Tamang. The Bar has demanded the court to release the CCTV footage of the incident and to register Lamichhane's complaint.
