Flight disrupted at major Terai airports due to poor visibility
Kathmandu, January 8 — Flight operations at Simara, Bharatpur, and Bhairahawa airports have been disrupted due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.
The Tribhuvan International Airport office has confirmed that both departures and arrivals at these airports will be delayed for some time until visibility improves.
However, other airports in the Terai region, including Nepalgunj, Surkhet, and Biratnagar, are operating normally.
Flights at these airports have been running as scheduled since 8:00 AM this morning, with no major disruptions reported.
Passengers traveling to or from Simara, Bharatpur, and Bhairahawa are advised to check with their airlines for updated flight information and possible delays.
