Gold price sees modest increase in domestic market

Kathmandu, January 8 — The price of gold has seen a slight increase in the Nepali market on Wednesday.

According to the Fedration of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold, which was pegged at NPR 152,000 per tola (11.66 grams) on Tuesday, has risen by NPR 500, reaching NPR 152,500 per tola on Wednesday.

On the other hand, the price of silver remains unchanged.

Silver, which was priced at NPR 1,830 per tola on Tuesday, has continued to trade at the same rate on Wednesday.

Market experts suggest that gold prices have been fluctuating in response to global trends, while silver prices have remained relatively stable.
