Cabinet meeting today to pass budget

KATHMANDU, May 29: The Cabinet meeting is being held at 2 pm today at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.

The agenda of the meeting is to pass the budget for the next fiscal year 2080-81. It has been said that there will also be a discussion on the issue of Prime Minister Prachanda's visit to India along with possible discussions on other important and necessary agendas. 

The Prime Minister is visiting India from May 31 to June 3. Similarly, Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat will be presenting the Budget for the upcoming fiscal year at 4 pm today.
