Make democratic force victorious in polls: RPP appeals

Baitadi - Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Baitadi has appealed to all to make a democratic force victorious in the upcoming House of Representatives and State Assemblies. "The only party having nationalism and a clean image is the RPP, and we appeals to all to make democratic alliance victorious in the polls," said a press release issued on Thursday and signed by the RPP's district chairman Prem Bahadur Chand.

An electoral alliance has been forged between the RPP and the Nepali Congress (NC) for the district. In another context, the statement said the RPP would not be affected when an individual of the party defect, referring to a dozen RPP leaders and cadres including former chairperson, who some days ago left RPP for the left alliance.

RPP leader Ganesh Bahadur Chand is running in the State Assemblies elections from Baitadi constituency-2 from the NC and RPP alliance. Likewise, NC leader and Minister of State for Commerce Nara Bahadur Chand will fight for a member of the House of Representatives from the coalition.

NC leader Hari Mohan Bhandari and RPP leader Ganesh Bahadur Chand are running for members of the State Assemblies from Baitadi constituencies (A), and (B) respectively. The district has a total of 132,319 voters.
