NPC Vice Chair Kandel focuses technical classes

Kathmandu - Vice Chairperson of the National Planning Commission Dr Pushpa Raj Kandel has urged Nilkantha Campus to focus on conducting technical classes. He stressed the need for fulfilling increasing demand for workforces with technical education while addressing the second meeting of the campus assembly here on Saturday.

On the occasion, praising the campus for elevating educational status of the district, lawmaker Khem Prasad Lohani underscored the need for expanding its reach to all people in the district. Presided over by chairperson of the board of directors of the campus Ram Nath Adhikari, the campus chief Nabaraj Sharma presented a report of the strategic plan and educational activities of the campus in the assembly. The campus has a total of 989 students.
