Grade 11 and 12 exams postponed

Kathmandu - The National Examination Board (NEB) has postponed the annual examinations of Grade 11 and 12 until further notice. A meeting of the Board today took this decision, said NEB member- secretary Durga Prasad Aryal. The NEB had made preparations to hold the Grade 11 exams from Baishak 12 and Grade 11 exams from Baishak 21. The Board was almost all prepared to run the examinations but ongoing lockdown in view of pandemic of deadly COVID-19 affected the schedule, Aryal added. A total of 962,000 students from Grade 11 and Grade 12 are going to take the examination in this session. A total of 1,147 examination centers were fixed for the exams. Aryal further said that all students who are going to appear the exams will get at least two weeks' time for preparations after the end of the lockdown.
