Home Ministry appeals to coordinate with Govt agencies

Kathmandu - The Home Ministry has appealed to all concerned people and associations to coordinate with the local government authorities in order to provide relief materials to the families affected by the floods and landslides.

Issuing a press release on Thursday, the Home Ministry has appealed to everyone concerned to provide assistance to the flood survivors by collaborating with the local government, district natural disaster rescue committee, central natural disaster rescue committee and Prime Minister's Disaster Relief and Rescue Fund.

According to the Ministry, in the local levels without elected representatives, the common mechanism could be contacted for the relief distribution in the disaster hit areas.

The Ministry expressed commitment that it was effortful to ensure just and proportional distribution of the relief materials provided by the donors.
