Rabi Lamichhane Calls All-Party Meeting on Devanaganj Incident

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has called an all-party meeting for Wednesday morning to discuss the Devanaganj incident in Sunsari and other contemporary issues.

According to RSP, the meeting will be held at 8 am in the Public Accounts Committee meeting room at Singha Durbar. All political parties represented in the Federal Parliament, as well as the Janata Samajwadi Party led by Chairman Upendra Yadav, the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party led by Chairman Mahanta Thakur, and the Janamat Party led by Chairman CK Raut, have been invited for the discussion.

RSP General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya informed that Chairman Lamichhane has requested the leaders of the concerned parties to participate in the meeting by sending letters and also by making personal phone calls.

He stated that the all-party meeting has been organized considering the need for a common message and appeal from the political level, along with administrative efforts, for social harmony, peace-security, and reduction of hatred following the extremely sensitive and tragic incident in Sunsari.
