President Paudel Mourns Demise of Former Deputy Prime Minister Gopalman Shrestha

Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has expressed his deep sorrow over the news of the demise of democratic movement warrior and former Deputy Prime Minister Gopalman Shrestha.

President Paudel mentioned that Shrestha's contribution during the difficult days of the struggle for the establishment and restoration of democracy in the country will always be remembered.

Stating that he had the opportunity to always know Shrestha as a simple person dedicated to democracy, he felt that his demise has caused irreparable damage to the country's democracy and democratic movement, he wrote on social media X.

President Paudel has offered heartfelt condolences to the late Shrestha and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family and well-wishers in this time of sorrow.
