Film 'Gauthali' Earns Over 7.5 Crore in First Week

Kathmandu. The film 'Gauthali' has succeeded in doing business of 7.5 crore in the first week. The box office report released by the Film Development Board on Monday until 10 PM Sunday shows the film's gross income as 7 crore 42 lakh 73 thousand 859 rupees. 2 lakh 60 thousand 254 people have watched the film in that period.

The film, released on July 1, has been directed by Dr. Kapil Rizal, son of lyricist and gynecologist Dr. Bhola Rizal. With this, 'Gauthali' has become the second highest-grossing film of this year. In the first place is the film 'Lalibazaar' from the 'Jatra' group, which did a gross business of 9 crore 32 lakh rupees. The record of this film is certain to be broken by 'Gauthali' this week. Because the film is doing even more aggressive business this week.

Initially, 'Gauthali', which got about 200 shows, has now got more than 250 shows. With high audience pressure in most shows, the business report is encouraging. After appearing average on the first day, the occupancy in theaters has increased in the following days, reaching houseful.

The team, including the artists, is still going to various halls to understand the audience's reactions. Along with the Kathmandu Valley, the artists are reaching the halls in the districts to meet the audience. The audience is praising it as a unique film.

The film stars Arun Kshetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Luniva Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Ishwori Baral, Sanjog Rasaili, Sita Devi Timilsina, Laxmi Nath Timilsina, among others.

The screenplay and dialogues were jointly prepared by Dr. Kapil Rizal, Nishchal Kunwar, Niraj Nepal, and Giriraj Ghimire, based on the story of Dr. Bhola Rizal.

The film, centered on the themes of home, family, relationships, and intimacy, has been distributed by Rich Entertainment, Apple Entertainment, and FD.
