'Gauthali' Movie Enters Second Week with Positive Response and Increased Shows

Kathmandu. The movie 'Gauthali' has successfully entered its second week of screening. Released last Friday, this movie has entered its second week with excellent business in the first week and positive audience feedback. The number of shows and audience in the movie have also increased in the second week. The exact earnings of the movie in the first week will be known on Monday when the box office report is released.

"The Film Development Board itself releases the box office data every Monday. That's why we haven't released it externally, assuming the board will officially release it on Monday," said director Kapil Rizal, "However, a surprisingly good box office report is coming."

'Gauthali', which initially had around 200 shows, has now secured more than 250 shows. The business report is encouraging, with high audience turnout in most shows. The occupancy, which was average on the first day, has increased in the following days, reaching houseful in some instances.

The team, including the artists, is visiting theaters to gauge audience reactions. Artists are meeting audiences in theaters in the capital valley as well as in the districts. Audiences are praising the movie as unique. Families are coming in groups of 10-15 people to watch the movie. The number of women in the audience is noticeably higher than that of men.

The movie 'Gauthali' features actors Arun Chhetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Luniba Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Ishwori Baral, Sanjog Rasaili, Sitadevi Timilsina, Laxminath Timilsina, among others.

The screenplay and dialogues for the movie, based on a story by Dr. Bhola Rizal, were jointly prepared by Dr. Kapil Rizal, Nishchal Kunwar, Niraj Nepal, and Giriraj Ghimire.

The distribution of the movie, which focuses on themes of home, family, relationships, and intimacy, has been handled by Rich Entertainment, Apple Entertainment, and FD.
