Man Rescued After Jumping into River in Palpa

Butwal. A man who jumped into a river in Kagatidanda, Palpa, has been rescued safely. On Friday, a 56-year-old man from Kagatidanda, Rampur Municipality-2 of the district, jumped into the local Nisdi River.

According to the District Police Office, Palpa, upon receiving information that the man had jumped into the Nisdi River, a police team reached the scene. The police team, with the help of locals, rescued him safely from the river.

After the rescue, he was counseled and handed over to his wife, said DSP Bhimlal Bhattarai of the District Police Office, Palpa.
