Police Prepare Criminal Profiles of Suspects

Kathmandu. Police have prepared 'criminal profiling' of individuals suspected of being involved in crime. The District Police Complex Kathmandu has stated that the profiling has been prepared by assessing the risk of those previously involved in gangsterism, smuggling, narcotics, murder, fraud, theft, and heinous crimes, and who may commit crimes in the future. 

SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Complex Kathmandu told Ratopati that criminal profiling of 1871 people has been prepared.

Those included in the profile are those who have been involved in crime before. SP Bhattarai says – 'Criminal profiling has been prepared for those who were involved in past incidents and those who have the risk and have been identified as capable of committing new incidents.'
