Sunweiyans Innovation Fest 2026 to Showcase Future Technology

Kathmandu. Aiming to provide a close experience of the future of technology, 'Sunweiyans Innovation Fest 2026' is going to be organized. 

With the goal of bringing together students, technology enthusiasts, researchers, and industry experts on a single platform, this program will be held on the coming July 25th at Anupam Foodland, Baneshwor from 9 AM to 6 PM.

According to the organizers, the Innovation Fest will cover various aspects of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, drone technology, research, innovation, and career development on a single platform. Participants will have the opportunity to experience cutting-edge technology firsthand and participate in various workshops, discussions, competitions, and exhibitions.

Among the main attractions of the program will be the robotics and drone workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to observe cutting-edge robot and drone technology firsthand and practice it, informed Khusal Regmi, Principal of Sunway College.

Similarly, the currently trending vibe coding workshop and competition will also be a special attraction of the program. Through this, participants will get the opportunity to learn the skill of developing software quickly, effectively, and creatively using modern AI tools.

Various panel discussions focused on the growing impact of AI will also be organized in the program. In discussions on 'AI in Journalism' and 'Physical AI', experts from the communication, technology, and research sectors will share their experiences and perspectives on the changes AI is bringing to journalism, industry, and daily life.

Similarly, under 'AI for Productivity' and 'AI Talk Series', there will be detailed interaction among experts on the use, possibilities, and challenges of AI in Intellectual Property Rights (IP Law), data privacy, and the health sector. AI-related sessions and workshops will be conducted in collaboration with organizations such as the AI Association of Nepal, Robotics Association, FinTech Association, and NAMI.

With the aim of encouraging the creativity and research of students, a 'Student Innovation Showcase' will also be organized. Under this, innovative works such as final year projects, first-year innovative concepts, research projects, and rain projects will be displayed. This will provide students with an opportunity to present their research and projects to industry, experts, and other participants, the organizers stated.

Career counseling and mock interview sessions will also be conducted targeting the career development of students and the young workforce. Through this, participants can have direct interaction with industry experts and receive useful suggestions regarding employment opportunities, interview preparation, and career development.

This program, which prioritizes entertainment along with technology, will also feature various food stalls, interactive games, photo booths, and other activities, providing participants with an experience of entertainment along with learning.
