Tax Officer Arrested for Bribery in Lahan

Janakpurdham. A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has arrested tax officer Yuvraj Pal of the Internal Revenue Office, Lahan, red-handed while taking a bribe from a service recipient.

A team from the Commission dispatched from Bardibas arrested tax officer Pal red-handed while taking a bribe from a service recipient, informed Prakash Pokharel, Information Officer of the Commission.

Tax officer Pal is accused of taking a bribe from a service recipient by facilitating the tax audit of a company located in Lahan. According to Information Officer Pokharel, further investigation is underway on tax officer Pal to ascertain the bribe amount.
