Former PM Jhalanath Khanal Departs for Week-Long China Visit

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and senior leader of the Communist Party of Nepal Jhalanath Khanal has departed for a week-long visit to China at the friendly invitation of the People's Republic of China. Khanal left for Beijing, China on Thursday via Sichuan Airlines flight.

During the visit, Khanal is scheduled to meet with high-level leaders of the Communist Party of China (CPC), his secretariat informed. In that context, Khanal will hold high-level discussions on Nepal-China bilateral relations, mutual interests, traditional friendship, and expansion of mutual cooperation in various fields.
