Janardan Sharma Recalls Ideals of BP Koirala and Pushpalal Shrestha

Kathmandu. Prolopa patron and former minister Janardan Sharma 'Prabhakar' has said that the thoughts and ideals of Nepali Congress founder BP Koirala and Communist Party of Nepal founder Pushpalal Shrestha are equally relevant in today's political context.

Paying tribute on social media on Tuesday in the context of the memorial day of BP Koirala and Pushpalal Shrestha, he mentioned that although the thoughts and philosophies were different, the common goal of both leaders was democracy, the rights of the people, and the prosperity of the country.

Sharma said that in the current political situation where integrity, principles, and the spirit of public service are becoming overshadowed, it is necessary to draw inspiration from the thoughts and ideals of BP and Pushpalal.

He paid high respect to the two important personalities of Nepali political history and offered heartfelt tribute on the occasion of the memorial day.
