Mukesh Bahadur Pal Wins Nepali Congress Green Run

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress founder leader and first elected Prime Minister BP Koirala on the occasion of his death anniversary, in the Green Run competition organized by Nepali Congress today, Mukesh Bahadur Pal became first in the male runner category. Pal completed the five-kilometer race track set for the competition in 16 minutes 15.7 seconds.

Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa provided cash prizes to the 6 winners among the participants in the Green Run competition which started from UN Park in Lalitpur. President Gagan Thapa provided a cash prize of 50 thousand to the first place winner Pal.

Similarly, Narendra Singh Rawal, who came second, was provided with 25 thousand rupees, while Sanjay Shrestha, who came third, was provided with 20 thousand. Ganesh Singh, who came fourth in the competition, was awarded 12 thousand, Amrit Thakuri, who came fifth, was awarded 10 thousand, and Nageshwar Ahir, who came sixth, was awarded 8 thousand rupees.

The Congress central office has stated that about 1400 people registered their names for participation in the competition.
