Former NRNA Spokesperson Alleges Unilateral Actions by Current Leadership

Kathmandu. Former spokesperson of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and former organizing committee member-secretary of the unified general convention, Gangadhar Gautam, has accused the current leadership of working unilaterally against the spirit of the NRNA's broad unity.

In a press release issued on Sunday, he claimed that President Dr. Hemraj Sharma is operating the organization in a single-handed manner, violating the unified general convention held according to the Supreme Court's decision and the subsequent 10-point agreement.

Gautam mentioned that the current nominations and decisions are against the NRNA's statute, warning that if the leadership does not maintain the spirit of agreement and cooperation, they will not participate in such activities.

He also demanded that a high-level meeting involving founders, former presidents, leaders from various factions, and stakeholders be called immediately to resolve the dispute within the NRNA.
