Nepal Festival 2026 to be held in Poland

Lisbon. The first 'Nepal Festival, 2026' is to be organized in Poland. The festival is scheduled to be held on July 11 at the Imperial Castle in Poznan city of Poland, organized by the Global Poland branch of We Nepali.

The objective of organizing the Nepal Festival for the first time in Poland is to promote and propagate Nepali art, culture, and tourism, said Shanti Shrestha, chairperson of the branch. She said that through the festival, Polish citizens will be familiarized with Nepal's cultural diversity and unique identity, and they will be encouraged to visit Nepal.

The participation of Sagar Prasad Phuyal, acting Nepali ambassador to Germany and non-resident acting Nepali ambassador to Poland, will be as the chief guest. Also, representatives from various organizations including the Cultural Department of the Polish government and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce have been invited to the program, informed the organizing body.

Participants will gather at Centrum Kultury Zamek at Marchin 80/82 in Poznan and parade through the main squares of the city with Nepali flags, cultural dances reflecting Nepali culture, tableaux, and traditional attire, and a grand program will be held in the main hall of the Imperial Cultural Center.
