Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Ghising Expresses Disappointment with Current Government

Kathmandu. Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising has said that disappointment is growing as the current government has failed to provide a reliable basis for the public. Speaking at a program organized by the party's Khandadevi-Kathmandu Contact Forum in Kathmandu on Saturday, Chairman Ghising said that disappointment is growing as the government has failed to provide a reliable basis not only for the general public but also for industry and business.

He commented that the government is partially responsible for the situation where traders and some youths have had to resort to self-immolation due to despair. He said that if a government close to a two-thirds majority turns the hopes and trust of the people into despair, there is a great possibility that Nepal will move towards another conflict. He argued that although they wish for the government to last for five years, based on its work so far, there are no signs that it will last for five years.

Chairman Ghising stated that his party is not one that moves forward with stunts or momentary thoughts, and is ready to face any challenge that arises in the country. Chairman Ghising made it clear that in the past, they made a big mistake by merging with another party, and therefore, the existence of Ujyalo Nepal will not be erased by joining any party under any circumstances.

He also informed that they will announce a three-month program nationwide after the rainy season. He said that they will go to every rural municipality and understand the problems of the people.

He claimed that the Ujyalo Nepal Party will win the upcoming local and provincial elections, and after that, the people will not choose any party other than Ujyalo Nepal in the federal elections.
