First Song 'Juni Jala' Released from Nepali Film 'Pension Patta'

Kathmandu. The first song 'Juni Jala' from the Nepali film 'Pension Patta' directed by actor and director Maotse Gurung has been released. In the released song from 'Pension Patta', which will be screened on Bhadra 26, attractive acting and presentation of actors Dayahang Rai, Buddhi Tamang, Wilson Bikram Rai, Gaumaya Gurung, Maotse Gurung and others can be seen. 

The song, which artistically presents the cultural environment, attire, and unique lifestyle of the Gurung community, is expected to create special attraction among the audience.

The song features lyrics by Harka Saud, music by Manoj Thapa Magar, and vocals by Sarun Gurung, Rajbahadur Gurung, Usha Gurung, and Priya Gurung. The choreography for the song was done by Kamalbahadur Gurung. 

'Juni Jala' presents the भाव (feeling/emotion) of love, dedication, and commitment to stay together for a lifetime in a unique setting decorated according to Gurung culture. The local lifestyle, natural beauty, and rural environment have been brought to life through the song. The song also effectively hints at the film's main storyline, the characters' life journeys, family relationships, struggles, and the village environment.

According to director Maotse Gurung, 'Pension Patta' is a story about the struggle required to achieve goals in life, focusing on hope, struggle, and human emotions.

The film also features acting by actors Pushkar Gurung, Pasupati Rai, the late Sunil Thapa, Sol Gurung, Manoj Gurung, Anusha Rai, and Luniba Tuladhar.

The film, produced under the banner of Maotse Gurung Films, has its story and direction by Maotse Gurung himself. The film features cinematography by Sushant Prajapati, editing by Nemish Shrestha and Ker D. Koich Linuch, color grading by Rajendra Moktan, sound design by Uttam Neupane, sync sound by Navin Shrestha, VFX by Manoj Shrestha, and art direction by Raju Yakcha.

The producers of the film are Min Konme Gurung (UK), Bhojbahadur Gurung (UK), Maya Gurung (Hong Kong), and Sapana Gurung, while D.B. Gurung is the production manager. The production side has informed that the lyrics for other songs in the film are by Shiva Baraili and Suraj Tamu, and the music is also by Shiva Baraili and Suraj Tamu.

RR Films has acquired the distribution rights of the film. According to the production team, the international screening rights of the film have also been sold enthusiastically in various countries. Director Gurung informed that the screening rights have been sold so far for Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, and discussions are ongoing with other countries as well.

The film 'Pension Patta', which is set to be released on Bhadra 26 on the occasion of Haritalika Teej, is believed by the production team to powerfully present the story of rural life, family relationships, love, sacrifice, and human emotions to the audience.
